The Oakland job market continues to be one of the largest factors getting people out there and setting up tents. The fact is, people in Oakland are ready to work but are finding it hard to find the jobs they have skills for. This has moved many of the Occupy protestors to put more focus on the need for qualified jobs.

The Oakland job market continues to drag and it is causing more people than ever to try and find an opportunity to get their voice heard. As a result, there have been some important changes in the last few days regarding the movement.
· Some Oakland protestors are moving to the foreclosed homes in the city. Many of these serve as a reminder of what caused the downturn in the first place.
· Those who are labor union leaders are now entering the protesting as well. They are looking for ways to encourage people to take notice.
· Those who work as immigration officials are also taking a stance and pitching tents.
